The Medium Intensity Approach Lighting System (MALSR) Aiming Device is an accessory to the MALSR System used to adjust the vertical elevation of the lamp holders to ensure the correct lighting angle is achieved. The Aiming Device is used for aiming the flasher Light Unit, the PAR-56 Lamp holder and the PAR-38 Lamp holder.
The Aiming Device PAR- 38 adapter ring with protractor attaches directly to the PAR-38 lamp face to measure the lighting angle. The Aiming Device will measure the light angle of the Flasher Light Units and the PAR- 56 Lamp holder by attaching the PAR-56 bracket with protractor to each lamp housing.
