Patriot Taxiways LED Wingtip light is specifically designed for positioning on the end of the port (left) and starboard (right) hand wings. The high resolution LED illumination provided by the wingtip lights especially in low light conditions, means that the full aircraft footprint is still visible to other aircraft in the sky, and to ground control during approach and upon landing.
To differentiate between left and right, the port (left) wingtip light is red and the starboard (right) is green, therefore even if the aircraft is being viewed from a distance, to the eye you will still know the exact orientation of the aircraft,
The product has been rigorously tested for resistance to shock and vibration and the LED technology means that there is no requirement to replace bulbs.
Patriot Taxiways LED tail light operates under a very similar design to the wingtip lights, but instead of green or red, the LED output is aviation white.
